Virtual job fair planned by Suffolk's One-Stop Employment Center
Suffolk County’s One-Stop Employment Center will be hosting a virtual job fair next Thursday in cooperation with the Smithtown Library.
The online event, scheduled for Oct. 21 from 10 to 11 a.m., will feature recruiters from a handful of local employers looking to hire. Representatives from businesses with Suffolk operations will discuss job opportunities and ways to apply for positions.
Companies that are scheduled to attend the event include Contract Pharmacal Corp., one of largest drugmakers on the Island, The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, and Mill-Max Manufacturing Corp., a maker of electronic components.
