Suffolk to host July jobs fairs, starting Tuesday
Suffolk County’s Labor Department will hold in-person job fairs in Port Jefferson Station and Northport this month, promoting hundreds of openings for jobseekers. On Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon, a fair at the Comsewogue Public Library, 170 Terryville Rd. in Port Jefferson, will feature over a dozen Long Island employers including Amazon, Doyle Security Services, Stony Brook University, and Sun River Health. On July 27 from 10 a.m. to noon, a fair at the Northport-East Northport Public Library, 151 Laurel Ave. in Northport, will feature employers including Forest Hills Financial Group, Developmental Disabilities Institute, and New York Life Insurance Company.
