Online retailer holding job fair to fill 75 openings on Long Island

Pharmapacks, an online retailer of health and beauty products, will hold a job fair on Wednesday in Islandia to fill 75 job openings, executives said.

The event, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will be held at the company’s office and warehouse at 1516 Motor Parkway.

In 2016, the facility received tax breaks from Suffolk County and New York State in return for promises to employ 425 people by 2019; it now has more than 350, county officials said.

Pharmapacks is looking for people to work as scanners, pickers, packers and inventory personnel. The jobs pay $11.50 per hour for day shifts and $13 per hour for nights.

Pharmapacks is one of two online sellers operated by Entourage Commerce LLC, which also is based in Islandia.
