K and L Green Operations, a 6-year-old Copiague home remodeling company, has gone out of business, according to a recent state regulatory notice.
The company, which employed 40 people, was to close Jan. 29, K and L stated in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act filing. The filing states the reason as “economic.”
Paul Levine, who is listed as president, declined to comment. The company’s website describes it as a home-remodeling business, while the WARN notice lists it as a home-energy solutions company.
