Kimco holds back to school Facebook contest to win $1,000
As part of an effort to boost its social media footprint, real estate trust Kimco Realty Corp. is launching a back-to-school contest on Facebook for its Airport Plaza shopping center in Farmingdale.
The New Hyde Park-based investment fund, which owns nearly 1,000 shopping centers across the country -- including the Airport Plaza center -- is offering $1,000 to shop at any store in the center.
To enter, simply “Like” the Airport Plaza's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/AirportPlazaFarmingdale. The contest is open until Sept. 20, and the winner will be announced on Facebook soon after.
Stores at the shopping center include Staples, RadioShack, Bed Bath & Beyond and Home Depot.
