Law school dean E. Donald Shapiro dies

Law school dean
E. Donald Shapiro, dean emeritus of the New York Law School and a board member of aerospace technology company Frequency Electronics in East Garden City, died Monday, according to the school and company.
Shapiro joined the Frequency board in 1998 and most recently served as chairman of the company’s audit committee and a member of the compensation committee.
Here’s a statement from the law school, where Shapiro was also the Joseph Solomon Distinguished Professor of Law since 1983.
