Lawyer gets Suffolk bar association award

Scott Karson, of Stony Brook, has received the 2011 President’s Award from the Suffolk County Bar Association based on his dedicated service to the association with “the highest standards of professionalism.”
Karson is a partner at Melville-based law firm Lamb & Barnosky and served as the association’s president from 2004 to 2005. He is also a life fellow of the New York Bar Foundation, a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, vice chair of the Nassau/Suffolk Law Services Committee’s board of directors, and a member of both the New York State and American bar associations’ House of Delegates.
