Lawyer joins foundation board

Ira Halperin, a Huntington resident and a partner at the Mineola law firm of Meltzer Lippe, has been appointed to the board of advisors at Long Island Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization that identifies current and future community needs and builds a permanent endowment to facilitate same.
