Potato growers, greenhouse operators, winemakers and others in the region’s farming industries are invited to the annual Long Island Agricultural Forum next week in Riverhead. It's the event's 34th year.

Specialized meetings will focus on loan opportunities, immigration issues, pesticide record-keeping and new regulations for fuel-storage tanks.

The two-day event is scheduled for the Suffolk Community College campus in Riverhead Jan. 12 and 13. It's sponsored by the Long Island Farm Bureau.

The complete schedule and registration forms are available from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County.
