Erin A. Sidaras of Shirley has been appointed to the advisory council of the Nassau/Suffolk Law Services Committee and as an officer on the Suffolk Academy of Law's board of directors. She serves as counsel at Farrell Fritz in Uniondale.
NEFCU, a Westbury credit union, has two new directors on its board.
George Zweier of Commack will serve as treasurer. He is a certified public accountant and the chief financial officer of BRT Realty Trust in Great Neck.
Madeleine Sewell of Malverne will serve as assistant treasurer. She was formerly a senior account executive with Philadelphia Insurance Co. in Manhattan and an educator in the Valley Stream School District.
