Kathryn S. Coley has been elected to the board of SUNY Council for University Advancement, which supports the state university system and provides professional development and networking in public relations, alumni relations, publications, electronic communications, development, government relations and marketing. The Port Washington resident is director of communications at Farmingdale State College.

Steven J. Eisman has been elected treasurer of the Nassau County Bar Association. The Roslyn resident is a senior partner at the Lake Success law firm of Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger, where he oversees divorce and family law, and civil litigation and appeals practices.
ELECTRONICS
Patrick Mannion has been hired at UBM Electronics in Manhasset as content director for EDN and Designlines, UBM Electronics' publications and websites. He was director of content at Hearst Electronics Group in Uniondale. He lives in Commack.
FINANCE
Indira Khan has joined GrooveCar in Hauppauge as director of credit union relations. The Babylon resident was most recently a senior analyst at Bank of America in Jericho. GrooveCar is an auto buying resource for credit unions and credit union members that was founded in 2000.
HEALTH CARE
Dr. George DeNoto III has been named director of general surgery at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn. The Glen Cove resident previously served as chief of the division of minimally invasive surgery at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset and director of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center minimally invasive surgery fellowship.
LAW
Madeline Klotz has joined Garden City-based Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein as an associate in the firm's litigation and dispute resolution, and personal injury practices. The Miller Place resident was most recently an intern at the Eastern District U.S. Attorney's Office in Central Islip.
NONPROFITS
Patricia Manzi has been appointed director of Long Island Nature Collaborative for Kids, an Early Years Institute program. LINCK is a network of environmentalists, educators, landscape architects, and land trusts who work together to bring children outdoors and reconnect them with nature. Currently a master's degree student, the Massapequa resident was most recently Pine Barrens site director for the Nature Conservancy in Cold Spring Harbor.
REAL ESTATE
James Guariglia has joined the Islip office of Winkler Real Estate as a licensed sales agent. The Islip resident held a similar position at Dutch Door Realty of Long Island in West Sayville. He is also the current president of the Islip Chamber of Commerce.
