James R. Whitehouse of Bayport has joined Suffolk County National Bank in Riverhead as senior vice president and residential lending department head. Most recently he was a partner at Mortgage Capital Group in Bayport, where he brokered commercial mortgages.

HOSPITALITY
Franklin Manchester has been named general manager at The Inn at Great Neck, part of Samar Hospitality. The Carle Place resident was most recently director of sales and marketing at Scotto Brothers in Woodbury.

MEDIA
TheCelebrityCafe.com, an entertainment website based in Oceanside and launched in 1995, has announced two promotions. Gina DiFalco was promoted to editor. The East Quogue resident was promoted from staff writer. Daniel Levine of Middleburg, Fla., was also promoted from staff writer to editor.

REAL ESTATE
Jean Ann Byrnes has joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's Manhasset-Port Washington regional office as a sales agent. The Manhasset resident most recently held a similar position at Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty in Manhasset.
