Nicole B. Brewer of Cutchogue has been elected to the board of the Press Club of Long Island, a chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. She is executive publisher of Hamptons.com, an online guide for recreation on the East End of Long Island.

HEALTH CARE

Laura Juliano has been promoted to the newly created position of director of annual gifts at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson. She will be responsible for the hospital's annual giving, direct-mail campaigns, raffles and the Pink Rock Golf Classic. The Miller Place resident was promoted from development coordinator.
