BOARDSRichard Krulik has been named to the board of trustees at the Cradle of Aviation in Garden City. He is the chief executive of Hauppauge-based U.S. Luggage and lives in Northport.

HEALTH CARE

Dr. Apostolos K. Tassiopoulos, associate professor of surgery, program director of the vascular surgery residency and director of the Surgical Skills Simulation Center, has been appointed chief of the division of vascular surgery at Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He is a Miller Place resident.

RESEARCH

Tim Bush has been promoted to group president for the Asia Pacific region at Port Washington-based The NPD Group. He will continue in his current role as general manager of the firm's technology analysis business. Bush will be based in Hong Kong.

RISK MANAGEMENTEugene Oppo has joined Chernoff Diamond & Co., a Garden City-based benefits and risk management consultants firm, as senior consulting actuary in the retirement plan services division. The Port Washington resident was most recently senior vice president at Aon Hewitt in Manhattan.
