LIA Health Alliance breakfast meeting on health care changes
Fred Barba, Long Island Association Health Alliance president and CEO will address more than 100 guests of the organization Tuesday morning at a breakfast meeting on the subject of “National Health Care Reform: What is Changing and When?”
The organization promises “a detailed presentation addressing the impact of the National Health Care Reform outlined year-by-year through 2018.” The announcement said discussion will include:
- State Exchanges – a key component of President Obama’s plan where “… Americans can one-stop shop for a health care plan”
- Bringing Health Insurance to 32 Million Uninsured Americans
- Individual Mandate – what is expected from each American
- Employer Penalties – compliance to the new regulations
- The Great Impact on Small Businesses
