Literacy board has 3 new members

There are three new board members at Literacy Nassau, which helps functionally illiterate adults in Nassau County. It is based in Freeport. Sean Grady of Jericho, left, is an account executive at C&B Consulting in Syosset, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services. Iris Grover, center, is a retired guidance counselor and lives in Lynbrook. Mark Leff, right, is a service product manager at Cisco Systems in Melville and lives in Massapequa.

Meanwhile, Steve Schwimmer of Syosset has been appointed to the Long Island Works Regional Industry Advisory Council, which focuses on ways to ensure a skilled and dedicated future workforce on Long Island. He is a regional manager at Renaissance Merchant Services.
