Local law firms among top listed
Two Long Island law firms have ranked nationally in a survey of the nation’s best law practices.
In addition to the three national rankings, 23 law practices were regionally ranked as top-tier on Long Island.
Those ranked were selected from among more than 10,000 law firms based on surveys conducted by U.S. News & World Report and the publishers of “The Best Lawyers in America”. Results were published this month, based on confidential surveys of about 40,000 lawyers and clients.
Ranking nationally were:
*Nixon Peabody LLP, Jericho, Tier 1, franchise law.
*Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, of Garden City, Tier 2, employment law, representing management; and Tier 3, labor law, representing management.
“The recognition from U.S. News and Best Lawyers validates our commitment to providing counsel of the highest quality to our clients and delivering results that help them to achieve their strategic business objectives,” said Richard F. Langan, Jr., Nixon Peabody’s managing partner and CEO.
