Long Island hires and promotions: Carole Polney, Connetquot Central School District

EDUCATION

Carole Polney of Lindenhurst has been appointed director of digital learning, innovation and instructional technology in the Connetquot Central School District. She was assistant superintendent for technology and administrative services in the Amityville Union Free School District.

RETAIL

Amy Jensen of Centerport has been hired as Long Island store manager at IKEA in Hicksville. She managed an IKEA store in Las Vegas.

LAW

Cheryl L. Erato of Massapequa has been hired as a trusts and estates litigation associate at Farrell Fritz in Uniondale. She was an associate at Salem, Shor & Saperstein in Lake Success.

SilvermanAcampora in Jericho has promoted two associates to partner.
