Professional Physical Therapy in Uniondale has two new promotions:

Don Demay, of Manhattan, a partner, was promoted to chief operating officer. He was a partner and senior vice president of clinical operations.

Rick Turk, of Jersey City, was promoted to vice president of mergers and acquisitions. He was director of mergers and acquisitions.

Anthony Cancellieri of Rockville Centre, vice president of Park Strategies in Uniondale and a South Nassau Communities Hospital board member, has been named chairman of the Long Island Health Network, a consortium of hospitals for efficiency, quality and expanding access to health care.

BOARDS

William Anderson of Freeport has been elected to a four-year term as a member of the board of directors of the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. He is the curriculum associate for world languages, K-12, for the Massapequa School District.
