Long Island hires and promotions: Dr. Brian Lima, heart hospital at North Shore

Northwell Health’s transplant program at Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset has made two key appointments.

Dr. Brian Lima of Roslyn has been appointed director of heart transplantation surgery. He was surgical director of mechanical circulatory support at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Syed Hussain of Manhasset has been appointed lead heart procurement surgeon. He was a cardiac transplant surgeon at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

Lloyd Staffing in Melville has three new hires.

Jennifer Tripodi of Kings Park, client success director for Lloyd Healthcare, was director of sales and marketing at Integrated Healthcare Resources in Huntington Station.

Christine Lopez of Massapequa, client success director for LloydCreative, was partner at OmniPoint Marketing in Plainview.

Caroline Keerd of Jamaica Estates, Queens, front office leader, was office manager at Demandbase in Manhattan.
