Cathy Romano of Islip has been appointed to the Eastern Suffolk Board of Cooperative Educational Services' board of directors. She is a board member of Islip School District.

Stephen L. Dewey of Manorville has been appointed to the Suffolk County Board of Health. He is a research professor of psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine in Manhattan, a director and investigator in the behavioral and molecular neuroimaging lab at Feinstein Institute for Medical Research in Manhasset and a research professor of molecular medicine at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine.

Anthony Bagnuola of Bayville has been appointed to the advisory board of the WE CARE Fund, the charitable arm of the Nassau County Bar Association. He is an associate with Jaspan Schlesinger in Garden City.
