The Firemen’s Association of the state of New York, representing 92,000 volunteer first-responders, has appointed three people to its new health and wellness committee.

 

Jamie Rockwin, of North Merrick, has been appointed vice-chair. She is founder of The Annex Wellness and Fitness Center in North Merrick.

Dr. Jacqueline Moline, of Manhattan, has been appointed chair. She is vice president and chair of occupational medicine, epidemiology and prevention at Northwell Health in Great Neck and directs its Occupational and Environmental Medicine of Long Island in New Hyde Park.

Kerri Winans Kaley, of Cold Spring Harbor, has been appointed secretary. She is president and CEO of Cardiac Scan Imaging & Wellness Solutions in Huntington.

Dr. John Guariglia, of Setauket, has been elected president of the Suffolk County Dental Society. He is a partner in Suffolk Oral Surgery Associates in Holbrook, Smithtown and Stony Brook, and an attending surgeon at the St. Charles Hospital Dental Residency Program in Port Jefferson.

Richard G. Fromewick, of Oceanside, chair of the Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein tax certiorari and condemnation practice in Garden City, has been appointed as an ambassador to the Jewish Community Relations Council of Long Island in Jericho.

Jennifer Cona, of Cold Spring Harbor, managing partner at the Genser Dubow Genser and Cona elder-law firm in Melville, has been elected vice chair of the board of trustees of the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation in Port Washington.

Richard J. Murphy, of Mount Sinai, the South Nassau Communities Hospital president and CEO, has been elected secretary of the Healthcare Association of New York State Board of trustees and a member of the association’s executive committee.

Ruskin Moscou Faltischek in Uniondale has hired two new associates.

 

Lois Bladykas, of Oyster Bay, a graduate of Brooklyn Law School, was a summer associate.

 

John D. Chillemi, of Lynbrook, a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, was a summer associate.

 

Elizabeth E. Vail, of Southampton, has been hired as counsel in the land use and municipal department of Farrell Fritz in Water Mill. She was town attorney for the Town of East Hampton.

 

Douglas W. Atkins, of Melville, has been named partner at Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo and Terrana in Uniondale.

 

Srividya Revuru, of upstate Niskayuna, has joined Scully, Scott, Murphy and Presser in Garden City as patent agent and member of the chemical practice group. She was a technical specialist at Heslin Rothenberg Farley and Mesiti in Albany.
