Long Island hires and promotions: Firemen’s Association

ASSOCIATIONS
The Firemen’s Association of the State of New York has appointed three members to new roles.
Steven E. Klein of Oceanside, from Terrace Hose & Chemical Company No. 3 and the Oceanside Fire Department, has been elected as first vice president.
Eugene J. Perry Jr. of Shirley, from Van Guard Hose Company No. 1 of the Patchogue Fire Department, has been elected to a five-year term on the board of directors.
James Interdonati of Port Washington, ex-chief of the Port Washington Fire Department, has been elected trustee of the association’s Firemen’s Home.
Steven S. Rubin of Oceanside, a partner at the Moritt Hock & Hamroff law firm in Garden City, has been appointed chair of the IP Transactions and Licensing Committee of the intellectual property law section of the American Bar Association.
HEALTH CARE
Dr. Anthony Vintzileos of Locust Valley, chairman of obstetrics and gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, has been appointed deputy editor for obstetrics for The American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
