Long Island hires and promotions: Garden City law firm hires associate

LAW

Michael J. Barresi of Long Beach has been hired as an associate in the general liability practice group at Goldberg Segalla in Garden City. He was a deputy county attorney in the office of the Nassau County attorney in Mineola.

Katerina Grinko of Southampton, a law clerk at Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo in Riverhead, has been hired as an associate attorney at the firm.

Terri Manzione of Glen Head has been appointed executive director of Long Island Autism Communities Inc. in Deer Park. She was a grant author/coordinator of grant operations for The Center for Discovery ASSET Program in upstate Harris.

Nancy C. Leghart of Westbury has been hired as director of external affairs at the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation in Port Washington. She was the director of advancement at the Mill Neck Family of Organizations in Mill Neck.

Jim Collins of Huntington, an intern for the firm this summer, has been hired as a food service designer.

Jordan Siegler of Commack has been hired as a project administrator. He was a marketing productions intern for the New York Mets.

Allan Heller of Plainview has been hired as national sales manager at Autologic Diagnostics in Commack. He was a regional manager at Nespresso, a division of Nestle, in Manhattan.

BOARDS

Andrea Mattera of Commack, senior manager of the accounting firm AVZ in Hauppauge, has been appointed chair of the SUNY Old Westbury School of Business advisory board.

Tsuneo Imai of Port Washington, vice president and general manager of business imaging health care solutions of Canon USA in Melville and president of Canon’s virtual imaging unit, has been elected to the Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance board of directors.

Christina McQuilkin of East Islip has been hired as marketing and operations director at Dayton & Sydney Wealth Strategies Group in Woodbury. She was a marketing intern at The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce upstate.

Robert Spagnuolo of Lyndhurst, New Jersey has been hired as director of business development at The Sunrise Family of Companies in Farmingdale, which helps companies seeking to better manage their receivables, customer relationships and financing. He was senior account executive on Experian’s collection vertical team, working from home.
