Henry Cohen of Woodmere has been named dean of Touro College of Pharmacy in Manhattan. He is a professor at Long Island University Pharmacy in Brooklyn, and chief pharmacy officer and director of pharmacy residency programs at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Neil Lederer of Melville has been appointed as the new interim superintendent of the Hauppauge School District. He was interim principal of Long Beach High School in Long Beach.

LAW

Michelle Schmitt of Jericho has been named partner in the real estate group at Certilman Balin Adler and Hyman in East Meadow. She was an associate.

Justin Buchel of Manhattan has been named partner at Schneider Mitola in Garden City. He was an associate.

Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara and Wolf in Lake Success has promoted three attorneys to partners.

Christopher Trakas of Westbury has been hired as vice president at Gold Coast Bank corporate headquarters in Islandia. He was vice president and senior business relationship manager at Wells Fargo Bank in Melville.

PERFORMING ARTS

Steven Todrys of Manhattan and Bridgehampton, senior adviser at the investment bank Evercore Partners in Manhattan, has been elected chair of the board of trustees at the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor.
