Farmingdale State College has made three new appointments.

Kevin D. Jordan of Bay Shore has been named director of the Educational Opportunity Program. He was assistant dean of student development/campus life at LaGuardia Community College in Long Island City and dean of academic support at Dowling College in Oakdale.

Dorothy Hughes of Merrick, acting budget director, has been promoted to director of administrative services.

Erica Jayne Friedman of Lindenhurst has been named assistant project director of the First in the World research-aligned mentorship program.
