Long Island hires and promotions: Lustgarten Foundation

Erin Stoeber of Farmingdale has joined The Lustgarten Foundation, supporting pancreatic cancer research, in Bethpage as vice president of marketing and communications. She had a similar job at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America in Manhattan.

General Needs in East Northport, a charity serving homeless veterans, has appointed two new board members.

Therese Mora of Melville, manager of TD Bank in Huntington, has been appointed treasurer.

Gene Sicard of Huntington Station, president of Trendset Studios in Huntington Station, has accepted the role of publicity chair.

BIOTECHNOLOGY

Sharon Klugewicz of Rockville Centre, chief operating officer at Chembio Diagnostic Systems Inc. in Medford, has been promoted to president for its Americas region.

AVIATION

Denise Del Pino of Lindenhurst has been hired as director of human resources at Hawthorne Global Aviation Services in Ronkonkoma. She was HR manager at Kedrion Biopharma in Melville.
