Long Island hires and promotions: Madison McGlone, Greater Long Island Running Club

Madison McGlone of Bellmore has been hired as communications director of the Greater Long Island Running Club in Plainview. She was a club intern and is a recent graduate of Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts.

ACCOUNTING

Corey Massella of Syosset has been hired as managing director and partner at UHY Advisors in Manhattan. He was a partner at Katz Sapper & Miller in Manhattan.

RETIREMENT

Linda Kolakowski of Wading River, vice president of independent living at Jefferson’s Ferry Life Plan Community in South Setauket, has been has been named to an expanded role as vice president of resident life.

ENGINEERING

Anthony Cucuzzo of Port Jefferson has been hired as a senior engineer at D&B Engineers and Architects in Woodbury. He was a project manager with Nelson & Pope Engineers and Surveyors in Melville.

LAW

Eric Stern of West Hempstead, counsel at Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck in Woodbury, has been promoted to partner.
