Long Island hires and promotions: Sean M. Johnson, Nassau BOCES Barry Tech

Sean M. Johnson of Ronkonkoma has been hired as assistant principal of Nassau BOCES Barry Tech in Westbury. He was assistant principal for English at Francis Lewis High School in Fresh Meadows, Queens.
The Gerald R. Claps Career and Technical Center in Levittown has two new hires.
Lauren Reganato of Franklin Square, a culinary arts instructor, also teaches food science at Queens College in Flushing and taught family and consumer sciences in the Lynbrook Public Schools.
Scott Downs of Hauppauge, police science and EMT instructor, taught at the Francis Lewis High School law academy in Fresh Meadows, Queens.
John Musmacker of Massapequa has been named dean of students at Massapequa High School. He taught physical education at various district locations, must recently at Fairfield Elementary.
