Long Island hires and promotions: Steven Gilhuley, Malverne schools

EDUCATION

Steven Gilhuley of Hicksville, principal of Howard T. Herber Middle School in Malverne, has been appointed Malverne School District assistant superintendent for curriculum, instruction and educational services.

Stephen Aspetti of West Islip, assistant principal at Birch Lane Elementary School in Massapequa Park, has been appointed principal there.

HEALTH CARE

Stephanie Malone of East Patchogue has been appointed nursing home administrator for Hilaire Rehabilitation & Nursing in Huntington. She was executive director of Saints Joachim & Anne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brooklyn.

FUNERAL HOMES

Sean Gifford of Port Jefferson has been hired as funeral director at Moloney Family Funeral Homes in Lake Ronkonkoma. He holds an associate degree from American Academy McAllister Institute in Manhattan and is a New York State-licensed funeral director.
