Long Island hires and promotions: Timothy Rodgers, Samoset Middle School

Timothy Rodgers of Commack has been appointed assistant principal at Samoset Middle School in Ronkonkoma. He was K-8 dean of students in P.S./I.S. 178 Holliswood in Hollis, Queens.
Edward E. Cruz of Farmingdale has been named director of residence life at Farmingdale State College. He was assistant director of residence life and housing at SUNY Oswego.
David Feller of Fresh Meadows, Queens, has been appointed interim director of special services for the Lynbrook Public Schools. He had the same position in Katonah-Lewisboro Union Free School District in South Salem.
Kevin Witt of Merrick has been appointed director of physical education, health and athletics in the Seaford School District. He had a similar role as assistant principal at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School in Bayside, Queens.
Justin Uliano of Sunnyside, Queens, has been appointed curriculum associate for English and language arts, reading and library in grades 6-12 in the Deer Park School District. He was ELA department chairman in the Amityville School District. — DIANE DANIELS
