Long Island hires and promotions: Townwide Fund of Huntington

Gloria Palacios of Centerport has been named executive director of The Townwide Fund of Huntington, a fundraising group supporting community services for those in need. She was an associate director of development at FINCA International in Washington, D.C.

Steven Bartholomew of Collinsville, Connecticut, has joined Scully, Scott, Murphy & Presser in Garden City as an associate. He was senior corporate counsel at Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill, New Jersey, and is also an electrical engineer.

Rivkin Radler in Uniondale has hired two attorneys.

Edward C. Denby of Garden City was an associate attorney at Jaffe & Koumourdas in Manhattan.

Jonathan Salm of Great Neck worked at Aristotle Circle in Manhattan overseeing tutoring for first-year law students.

Zachary S. Kaplan of Wantagh has been hired as an associate attorney at Cuomo LLC in Mineola. He was an associate at Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates in Plainview.
