ASSOCIATIONS & BOARDS

The Association of Legal Administrators, Long Island Chapter, has named two employees of Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo and Terrana LLP in Uniondale to its board of directors.

Virginia Kawochka of East Meadow, an administrator of the law firm, has been appointed as treasurer.

Linda Tierney of Massapequa, director of the law firm's office management, has been appointed to serve as secretary.

MEDICINE

Dr. Michael Herman of Forest Hills has joined South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside as director of urologic oncology. He was an assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical Center and an assistant attending at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.

BANKING

Anthony DeLorenzo of East Islip has joined BankUnited in Manhattan as vice president and relationship manager. He was a vice president of Astoria Bank in West Islip.
