Long Island Iced Tea is official tea of the Nassau Coliseum

Long Island Iced Tea Corp. is raising the flag at the new Nassau Coliseum.
The Hicksville-based company said in a news release that it will be the official tea at the renovated Coliseum, giving it exclusive serving rights at all concession stands and luxury suites, once the facility reopens April 5 with a Billy Joel show.
“Our company carries the Long Island name, and our brand Long Island Iced Tea carries the legend and heritage of Long Island,” Phil Thomas, Long Island Iced Tea’s chief executive, said in a statement. “We are very excited to secure such a blue-chip partnership with such an iconic venue.”
Financial terms of the deal with Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, which manages operations and programming for the Coliseum and the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, were not disclosed. Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment is owned by Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov.
The Coliseum, officially known as Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum Presented by New York Community Bank, can be configured to seat 13,000 to 14,500 for ice hockey, basketball and concerts.
Shares of Long Island Iced Tea edged down 2 cents to close at $4.17 on the Nasdaq Capital Market.
