Suffolk offers free tips on getting civil service jobs
For those interested in employment in the public sector, a representative from the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service will be on hand at the county's One-Stop Employment Center on Tuesday to offer exam information. The representative will also offer tips on navigating the Civil Service website.
The event begins at 9:30 a.m. Although the session is free, registration is required because of limited seating. Call 631-853-6600 to reserve a seat.
The One-Stop is located at 725 Veterans Memorial Hwy. in Hauppauge.
