People on the Move: Long Island promotions, new jobs

Mark Flower, of Babylon, has been hired as chief financial officer at St. Joseph's University in Patchogue and Brooklyn, splitting his time between both campuses. Flower was vice president for finance and administration and chief operating officer at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan.

Stephanie Giancristofaro-Partyka, of Centereach, has been hired as an associate attorney at Capetola & Divins in Williston Park. Partyka was a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County in Riverhead.

John Simon, of Massapequa, has been hired as a partner at Kaufman Dolowich in Woodbury. Simon was an associate at The Sanders Law Firm in Manhattan.

Michael Lang, of Hauppauge, principal at Callaghan in Hauppauge, has been promoted to partner.

Jose Torres, of Shirley, has been hired as director of transportation in the Southampton School District. Torres was transportation supervisor for the Mattituck-Cutchogue School District.

Meredith Kelly, of Sayville, principal of Sylvan Avenue Elementary School in Bayport, has been promoted to assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction in the Bayport-Blue Point School District.

Katy Tirado, of Holtsville, assistant principal at Academy Street Elementary in Bayport, Blue Point Elementary in Blue Point and Sylvan Avenue Elementary in Bayport, has been promoted to administrator for pupil personnel services in the Bayport-Blue Point School District.

Bryan Sarandrea, of Massapequa Park, has been hired as district coordinator for social studies in the Manhasset Public Schools. Sarandrea was assistant principal at The Wheatley School in Old Westbury.

Rachel Yudin, of North Woodmere, principal of Davison Avenue Intermediate School in Lynbrook, has been promoted to executive director of special education services in the Malverne School District.

Joseph P. Walsh, of Brightwaters, has been hired as counsel at Barnes & Barnes in Melville. Walsh was a partner at Walsh & Roth in West Babylon. 

Frank C. Trotta, of Bellport, publisher of Fire News in Bellport, has been elected chairman of the board of directors of the Suffolk Credit Union in Medford. 

Adam Sherrard, of Port Jefferson, director of health, physical education, athletics and nursing for the Port Jefferson School District, has been promoted to 6–12 associate principal at (connected buildings) Port Jefferson Middle School and Earl L. Vandermeulen High School both in Port Jefferson.

Ashley Varney, of Brookhaven, a second-grade teacher at John Quincy Adams Primary School in Deer Park, has been promoted to an associate principal at the school.

Michael Lieberman, of Manorville, has been hired as an associate at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman in Hauppauge. Lieberman was an associate at Kosakoff & Cataldo in Melville.

Corinna Creedon, of Locust Valley, has been hired as managing director and leader of CFO strategic advisory services practice at Geller in Manhattan. Creedon was advisory services national practice lead, national digital tech strategy and innovation practice lead at Forvis Mazars US in Manhattan.

Kristy Faulkner, of Patchogue, has been hired as K-12 director of social studies in the Eastport-South Manor Central School District. Faulkner was the social studies department chairperson in the Roslyn School District.

Madison Templeton, of East Northport, has been hired as a staff designer at H2M architects + engineers in Melville. Templeton was a shift manager at SoBol in Commack.

Dawn Sachs, of Massapequa, has been hired as director of physical education, health and athletics in the West Hempstead Union Free School District. Sachs was a head lacrosse coach at Mercy University in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

Rob Schepis, of Islip, has been hired as senior vice president, senior commercial banking relationship manager at BankUnited in Manhattan. Schepis was senior vice president and business development team leader at Flushing Bank in Uniondale.

Madison Page, of Centerport, has been hired as a staff designer at H2M architects + engineers in Melville. Page was architectural intern at Garten Associates in East Northport. 

Nina Rossiello, of Lindenhurst, general accounting manager at Catholic Health in Rockville Centre, has been elected to the board of directors of the Alzheimer's Association Long Island Chapter in Melville.

Abigail Neugebauer, of Sayville, has been hired as vice president of marketing at The Bristal Assisted Living in Ronkonkoma. Neugebauer was senior director of content and executive producer at Warner Bros. Discovery in Manhattan.

Lisa Lombardo, of East Islip, has been hired as assistant administrator of special education in the Smithtown Central School District. Lombardo was assistant director of special education in the Levittown School District.

Michael J. Griffin, of East Moriches, founder and principal of The Griffin Group Global in East Moriches, has been elected vice president of the Long Island Council of the Navy League of the United States in Ronkonkoma.

Walter A. Poggi, of Nesconset, president of Retlif Testing Laboratories in Ronkonkoma, has been elected president of the Long Island Council of the Navy League of the United States in Ronkonkoma. 

Tonimarie Young, of West Islip, districtwide behavior analyst in the West Islip Union Free School District, has been promoted to assistant director of special education in the district. 

John Kneski, of Westhampton Beach, a former professor, currently a resident manager at Seascape Condominium in Westhampton Beach, has been appointed to the board of trustees of the Westhampton Free Library in Westhampton Beach.

Jennifer Caldwell, of Hampton Bays, has been hired as assistant principal at the Great Hollow Middle School in Smithtown. Caldwell was dean of students in the Robert Moses Middle School in North Babylon.

Daniel Galdamez, of Brentwood, has been hired as a project engineer I at Walden Environmental Engineering in Oyster Bay. Galdamez is a recent graduate of SUNY Buffalo in Buffalo, New York.

David Fulcher, of Great Neck, has been hired as a project engineer II at Walden Environmental Engineering in Oyster Bay. Fulcher was a senior operations engineer at LiquiTech in Manhattan.

Nicholas Grossjung, of Sea Cliff, has been hired as a project engineer at H2M architects + engineers in Melville. Grossjung was a design engineer at Charles G. Michel Engineering in White Plains, New York.

Karilyn Korec, of Holbrook, assistant business administrator in the Copiague School District, has been promoted to assistant superintendent for finance and operations in the district.

Kelly Paplin, of Mt. Sinai, a teacher at Dogwood Elementary School in Smithtown, has been promoted to assistant principal of Nesaquake Middle School in St. James both in the Smithtown Central School District.

Julie Robinson-Tingue, of Bay Shore, vice president, strategic communications and donor engagement at Northwell Health in New Hyde Park, has been appointed to the board of directors of the South Shore Guidance Center and EPIC Long Island both in East Meadow.
