People on the Move: Long Island promotions, new jobs

Bhawan Singh, of Huntington, has been hired as a senior paid media strategist at Austin Williams in Hauppauge. Singh was a paid social strategist at Hearst Corporation in Manhattan.

Angela Pensabene, of West Islip, an associate at Chesney, Nicholas & Brower in Syosset, has been promoted to partner.

Christopher Nuzzi, of Southampton, executive vice president and regional director of the East End at Advantage Title in Melville, has be promoted to president and CEO (chief executive officer).

Candice Singer, of Syosset, has been hired as first vice president, commercial banking relationship manager at Valley Bank in Jericho. Singer was vice president/relationship manager at Popular Bank in Manhattan.

Jaime Franchi, of Copiague, director of communications and government relations at Long Island Contractors' Association in Melville, has been appointed to the board of directors of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Long Island Chapter.

Michael E. Mazzola, of Massapequa, water commissioner of Massapequa Water District in Massapequa, has been elected president of the Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners’ Association (NSWCA) in Carle Place.
 

Joseph Perry, of Melville, water commissioner of the South Huntington Water District in Huntington Station, has been elected 1st vice president of the Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners’ Association (NSWCA) in Carle Place.

Scott A. Greco, of Bethpage, water commissioner of the Bethpage Water District in Bethpage, has been elected 2nd vice president of the Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners’ Association (NSWCA) in Carle Place.

Michael J. Kosinski, of Roslyn Heights, Water Commissioner of the Roslyn Water District in Roslyn, has been elected treasurer of the Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners’ Association (NSWCA) in Carle Place.

Rodney Caines, of Westbury, water commissioner of the Westbury Water District in Westbury, has been elected secretary of the Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners’ Association (NSWCA) in Carle Place.

Dr. Sana Bloch, of West Hempstead, a neurologist at Urban Health Plan in the Bronx, has been elected chair of the board of trustees of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) in Westbury.
