People on the Move: Long Island promotions, new jobs

Michael Bailis, of Oakdale, chief growth officer at Energywise in Ronkonkoma, has been promoted to president of GEO-Solutions Group in Ronkonkoma, a new division of Energywise.

Chaya Rosenbaum, of Kew Garden Hills, Queens, has been hired as an associate at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek in Uniondale. Rosenbaum was an associate attorney at Weiss Zarett Brofman Sonnenklar & Levy in New Hyde Park.

Fabrizio Salerno, of West Babylon, has been hired as community engagement coordinator at Brightway Living & Learning in Smithtown. Salerno was a copywriter at Northwell Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson.

Gus Mantia, of Medford, has been hired as director of facilities for the Wyandanch School District. Mantia was head custodian and building supervisor at Patchogue-Medford High School.

Alison Gladowsky, of Dix Hills, has been hired as counsel at Rivkin Radler in Uniondale. Gladowsky was an attorney at the Law Offices of Alison Gladowsky in Smithtown.

Renee Daniel Flagler, of Baldwin, president/author National CARES Mentoring Movement in Manhattan, has been elected to the board of directors of Bethany House in Baldwin.

Robert Meyer, of Oyster Bay, senior director of advancement operations and strategy at Regis High School in Manhattan, has been elected to the board of directors of Bethany House in Baldwin.

Aleisha Garvin, of Baldwin, founder and owner of Blue Pearl Gems in Garden City, has been elected to the board of directors of Bethany House in Baldwin.

Jessica Flores Lynch, of Rockville Centre, an associate at Rivkin Radler in Uniondale, has been elected to the board of directors of the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association in Garden City.

Edwin Maldonado, of Seaford, an associate at Rivkin Radler in Uniondale, has been elected treasurer of the executive board of the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association in Garden City.

Matthew Wells, of Mount Sinai, has been hired as executive director of human resources for the Babylon Union Free School District. Wells was the director of personnel for the Three Village Central School District.

Suzanne Farrell, of Garden City, has been hired as senior director of grants and evaluation at Kinexion Network in Manorville. Farrell was director of grants and evaluation at New York Cares in Manhattan.

Thomas Telfer, of Ronkonkoma, has been hired as a construction maintenance supervisor at the Suffolk County Water Authority in Oakdale. Telfer was a foreman at Sav Mor Mechanical Inc. in Ronkonkoma.

Allyson Saccomandi, of Center Moriches, has been hired as executive director, people and organizational effectiveness at Kinexion Network in Manorville. Saccomandi was vice president of human resources at Temple University Health System in Philadelphia.

Dr. Scott Weiner, of Dix Hills, has been hired as an orthopedic surgeon at Mirza Orthopedics in Smithtown and Bellmore. Weiner was an orthopedic surgeon at Summit Health in Garden City.

Steven Isaacs, of Commack, founder and chief executive at Advanced Digital Diagnostics in Commack, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Gurwin’s Fountaingate Gardens in Commack.

Lauren D’Annunzio, of Port Washington, the chairperson for home instruction and secondary guidance at Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School and Copiague Middle School in Copiague, has been promoted to coordinator of secondary guidance and work-based learning for the Copiague School District.

Anatoly Frenkel, of Great Neck, deputy chair of the department of materials science and chemical engineering at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, has been promoted to chair of the department.
