People on the Move: Long Island promotions, new jobs

Lisa Black, of Smithtown, director of Aeon Nexus Corporation in Albany, works remotely, has been appointed to the board of directors of EAC Network in Garden City. 

Keith Topper, of Hauppauge, has been hired as an associate at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek in Uniondale. Topper was an associate at Satin and Lee Law in Melville.

Jen Hayen, of Commack, formerly communications director at the Long Island Power Authority in Uniondale, has been elected to the board of directors of the American Red Cross, Long Island Chapter in Mineola.

Richard Snyder, of Blue Point, has been hired as assistant superintendent of business and operations in the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools. Snyder was interim assistant superintendent for finance and operations in the Amityville Union Free School District.

Paul Giordano, of Westbury, retired as assistant deputy commissioner from the Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation & Museums in East Meadow, has been elected president of the board of directors of AHRC Nassau in Brookville.

Michael Flynn, of Bellmore, a partner at Bergstein Flynn Knowlton & Pollina in Manhattan, as been appointed to the board of directors of EAC Network in Garden City.

Cynthia Seiden, of West Hempstead, has been hired as principal at Variety Child Learning Center in Syosset. Seiden was principal and education director at Birch Family Services: Soundview Early Childhood Center in the Bronx.

Theodore Massillon, of Fresh Meadows, Queens, has been hired as director of marketing and development at Long Island Select Healthcare Inc. in Central Islip. Massillon was founder and chief executive of NOM Media in Garden City.

Paule Pachter, of Bellmore, president of Pachter Consulting in Bellmore, has been appointed vice chairman of the board of directors of Pronto of Long Island in Bay Shore.

Alan Gagnon, of East Meadow, senior website project director at Austin Williams in Hauppauge, has been promoted to director, development operations and delivery.

Jillian Catalano, of Nesconset, has been hired as an associate account executive at Austin Williams in Hauppauge. Catalano was a senior account coordinator at Rubenstein Communications in Manhattan.

Kevin Deutsch, of Bayport, general manager and senior vice president of commercial health plan division at Softheon in Stony Brook, has been promoted to chief growth officer.

Frank Troise, of Glen Head, head of trading and connectivity solutions at Broadridge in Manhattan, has been promoted to president, global capital markets.

Dr. Sean Clancy, of Massapequa, has been hired as a chiropractor at Block Sports Chiropractic & Physical Therapy in Smithtown. Clancy was chiropractor at Active Chiropractic Care in Commack.
