The Long Island Regional Economic Development Council will hold two free workshops this month for companies, developers and not-for-profit organizations that are seeking state business aid.

Participants will learn about the Consolidated Funding Application process and how to compete for a portion of up to $750 million in grants and state tax credits from state agencies. The application deadline is June 16 at 4 p.m.

The first workshop is May 14, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Long Island Forum for Technology, suite 210, 510 Grumman Rd. W., in Bethpage.

The second workshop is May 30, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Stony Brook University, 100 Nicolls Rd., in Stony Brook.
