Two Long Island companies whose stocks moved significantly during the week ending Nov. 14, 2010.

Beaten-down shares had their best weekly percentage gain since the company took the Bovie name in 1998. The device maker posted higher quarterly sales and filed for a new patent.
P&F Industries

$2.93 (week's change: +45.0%)
52-week return: -0.7%
Shares are close to a two-year high after the tool and hardware maker reported better-than-expected earnings. P&F cited "increased revenue and cost reductions" for the results.
