Shares surged to a three-year high after the employment-services company accepted a $2.50-a-share takeover bid from Abry Partners, a Boston-based private investment firm.
Lifetime Brands
(LCUT)
Garden City
$14.92 (week's change: +16.2%)
52-week return: +119.7%
The kitchenware marketer said quarterly revenue rose 12.1 percent despite a "challenged" retail sector. Lifetime cited reduced costs and increased market share for the results.
