Macy's to host job fair, hiring 30 part-time associates

Macy's will host a job fair Thursday to hire more than 30 part-time sales associates for its Long Island stores.

The chain retailer will be hiring for Option 5 sales associates, which are part-time employees who work one or  two shifts per week. Option 5 associates will be expected to work on weekends and during the holidays, and will have benefits such as retail discounts and paid time off, according to a hiring notice the company put out.

The job fair will take place at the Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center in Hauppauge Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those interested should bring a resume and come prepared for an interview.
