The Public Relations Professionals of Long Island will host a panel discussion Thursday for businesses to learn about managing their brand image and social media presence.

The event, Managing Your Internal Brand, will brief attendees on how to nurture brand advocates, best practices from larger companies and develop appropriate social media policies.

The panel takes place at 8 a.m. Thursday at SUNY College at Old Westbury's Student Union, 223 Store Hill Rd. The event costs $55 for nonmembers, $40 for PRPLI members, and $20 for college students. For more details and to register, visit prpli.org.
