The Long Island Forum for Technology will be holding a half-day Solutions Fair next Wednesday, Jan. 30, for local manufacturers.

The Solutions Fair helps connect small- to medium-sized manufacturers with companies that could provide resources to solve problems. Those resources could include specialized researchers, process experts, prototyping advisers, technology matching specialists, etc.

During the fair, manufacturers and resource companies will participate in short one-on-one meetings to better understand the problems the manufacturers are trying to solve and the resource offerings.

The fair will take place at LIFT's offices in the Morrelly Homeland Security Center at 510 Grumman Rd. West in Bethpage. LIFT is also seeking comment from local manufacturers on their needs and problems so it can better tailor the fair with companies offering resources to fit their needs.

Manufacturers interested in participating may register at http://conta.cc/YtDTTN, there is no fee to attend.
