Marchon Eyewear Inc., the Melville maker of couture sunglasses, eyeglasses and accessories, has added another high-fashion partner, its third such deal in the past four months.
Marchon said this past week that it has a new, exclusive worldwide agreement with Nine West to create, produce, market and distribute its designer eyeglass frames.
The Nine West deal, announced last Monday, follows similar deals in June with Salvatore Ferragamo SpA and Valentino SpA.
Marchon's existing stable of eyewear labels includes Calvin Klein, Coach, Diane von Furstenberg, Emilio Pucci, Fendi, Jil Sander, Karl Lagerfeld, Lacoste, Michael Kors, Nautica, Nike, Sean John, Airlock, Disney, Flexon, Kiss&Kill and X Games.
It also has its own Marchon and Marchon3D sunglass lines.
