Melville-based Park Electrochemical Corp., a maker of printed circuit materials and aerospace components, has promoted one of its executives, Matthew Farabaugh, to chief financial officer and vice president.

Farabaugh, who joined Park in 2007 as vice president and controller, will report directly to the company's chief executive, Brian Shore. This is Farabaugh's second stint at Park. He was an assistant controller from 1989 to 2000.

Before coming to Park,  Farabaugh was corporate controller of American Technical Ceramics, a publicly traded international company in Huntington Station.
