Melville companies in data deal
Data protection appliance
Melville-based FalconStor Software Inc.and a subsidiary of Melville-based Arrow Electronics Inc.have agreed to distribute data storage protection solutions in Austria, Switzerland and southeastern Europe, the companies said Thursday morning.
Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, based in Englewood, Colo., is the first distributor for FalconStor in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo.
The agreement went into effect in July.
Above left is a Continuous Data Protector HC Series appliance from FalconStor.
