Mineola apartment buildings for sale
The Massey Knakal Realty Services agency has been retained exclusively to sell a group of three rent-stabilized apartment buildings in Mineola, with an asking price of $11.8 million.
The three buildings have 79 apartments and one professional unit, along with parking.
“The properties are being sold as a package only and represent an excellent opportunity for an investor looking for a unique residential portfolio in a great location with solid demographics,” the company says.
One building, 135 Third Ave., at First Street, is four stories, with 42 units and an elevator. It's on the northwest corner of the intersection, and has both indoor and outdoor parking.
Another piece of the Mineola portfolio, at 250 Harrison Ave., is a four-story, 32-unit walk-up apartment building. It's on the northeast corner of Harrison Avenue and Horton Highway, and has both indoor parking and a tenant parking lot across the street.
The third property is a three-story, six-unit walk-up building at 162 Grant Ave., on the north side of Grant between Mineola Boulevard and Willis Avenue. It has an adjacent lot with eight outdoor garages for tenants, and a basement that may become available for rent.
The portfolio also includes separate lots for tenant parking located nearby.
The properties are near a Long Island Rail Road station, Winthrop-University Hospital, Chaminade High School and Mineola Middle School, the broker said.
More information on this portfolio is available from Thomas A. Donovan, one of the firm's partners, or from Nalini Chugh, first vice president of sales.
