The owner of the Mogo Chef Truck (Mogo is short for mobile gourmet), said it's set to roll into Melville on Tuesday.

Owner Vito Coraci asks customers to check out his menu on Facebook. The day's location is outside the headquarters of Marchon eyewear, at 35 Hub Dr., Melville.

The truck, which travels various routes on Long Island during the lunch hour, sells grilled dishes, salads, wraps and soups.

"Finally after a long bumpy road, the Mogo Chef Truck 'rolls' into Melville today," Coraci, of Shoreham, says in a Tuesday email alert. "If you have a minute why don't you stop down for lunch. We have some awesome gourmet lunches grillin' today. Check out the grill menu..."

Coraci recommends advance ordering (include the time you want to pick up) by texting 631-745-9515.

"Or, just come by and we will grill it for you on the spot," he says.

Mogo's Facebook page includes a couple of sightings of the truck. One fan, who gives the name Susan Contursi Catalano, wrote on Oct. 8, "Out East pumpkin picking today, and we had the best lunch from you guys! Everything was delicious . . . my 5 yr old couldn't get enough of the turkey pesto sandwich! Hope to see you on the SBU campus soon!"
