Molloy College to host talk on fair housing for mentally ill

A conference on fair housing rights for people with psychiatric disabilities will take place Oct. 7 at Molloy College.
The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Wilbur Arts Center, Hays Theatre, 1000 Hempstead Ave. in Rockville Centre.
The keynote speaker will be Michael Allen, an attorney specializing in the Fair Housing Act and other civil rights laws. A panel discussion will include executives from the Long Island Federally Qualified Health Center, the Association for Mental Health and Wellness, the Nassau Suffolk Law Services Committee Inc. and Long Island Housing Services.
Admission is free, but advance registration through eventbrite.com is required.
