A Montauk bar and restaurant with an adjacent slip that serves as a launch site for party and fishing boats is on the market.

"One of Montauk treasured landmarks is up for sale or lease," the listing agent, Stacey Barnds of Town & Country Real Estate, said in a news release about Salivars Restaurant and Bar, at 470 West Lake Dr.

"Located in the heart of the Montauk docks and known as the only place in Montauk where you can get food and a drink 24 hours a day, this Montauk fixture is a breakfast, lunch and dinner favorite for all."

It has on-site parking, a 53-seat indoor service area and an 85-seat patio overlooking the water. Its six dock slips can fit a 65-foot boat.

The site also offers a new owner or lessor "endless potential for a future business owner who wants to be part of the fabric and history of Montauk."

Stacey Barnds works from Town & Country’s East Hampton office. The restaurant is on the left side of the inlet in the photo above; its mooring slips are marked with white lines.
