Barry Cohen of Setauket, left, has been named partner-in-charge of the environmental law practice group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman in East Meadow. He was co-chair of the group.

Tara E. Daub of Sea Cliff, center,  has been promoted to counsel at Nixon Peabody in Jericho. She was an associate at the firm before her promotion.

John V. Terrana of Huntington, right, has been appointed co-chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association's condemnation & tax certiorari committee. He is a partner at Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn and Terrana in Uniondale.
